This year, Linda will be presenting on the Top 10 List of Hot Trends in Greenroof and Greenwall design. Explore new designs that seamlessly integrate vegetation and sustainable technologies into the building envelope.
Linda will look at innovative projects from around the world that are taking the productive functions of green roofs and walls and creating aesthetically pleasing, sustainable, urban landscapes. Projects include the MAD Architects proposed $1 billion Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angelas featuring a massive 11-acre green roof; The Atlas Hotel in Vietnam, designed by Vo Trong Nghia architects, that boasts lush greenery with hanging plants draping the 5-story building; and the ambitious plan of Vincent Callebaut to transform an abandoned Industrial area in Brussels, Belgium into a boundary-pushing, sustainable community.
